Join Dr. Ines Verner, aesthetic dermatologist, as she demonstrates step-by-step techniques for performing safe filler injections in the face by using ultrasound to avoid vascular occlusions.
In this one-hour webinar, you will learn how to use ultrasound to map blood vessels in the face and avoid filler complications. High-resolution ultrasound is now easy to use for any cosmetic clinic or plastic surgery practice to impress patients with safe, consistent results. Dr. Verner teaches how to:
- Clearly visualize the depth of the mentalis muscles and vasculature of the chin prior to injection
- Perform a safe filler injection into marionette lines by mapping the depth and course of the inferior labial arteries
- Avoid severe complications with forehead and glabellar injections by knowing the exact location and depth of the supratrochlear and supraorbital arteries
- Use ultrasound to identify and characterize existing filler in the face
Facial mapping can be performed in just minutes. Join Dr. Ines Verner as she demonstrates how to use wireless ultrasound to map the arteries in commonly treated areas of the face to avoid complications.
Facial vascularity and structure differ widely from person to person, and there can be variability on the right and left sides of the face. Â Facial vascular mapping can be performed to curtail the risks associated with injecting fillers. Wireless ultrasound has gained popularity among medical aesthetic practitioners to visualize vessels and avoid accidentally injecting into an artery or causing vascular compression that compromises or diminishes healthy blood flow.
In this practical webinar, you will learn how to use ultrasound to locate and measure the depth of vascular structures to plan and perform safe filler injections in the chin and forehead. We look under the skin to clearly visualize muscles, vessels, and the periosteum to identify the safest sites for injection.
Join Dr. Ines Verner, specialist in dermatology, as she teaches her step-by-step ultrasound techniques for performing filler injections, ensuring safe and consistent patient outcomes. A deep dive into real patient procedures, recently captured on video, will illustrate exactly how to perform vascular mapping for safe injections.
Ultrasound is changing the game and improving patient safety in facial aesthetics. With the miniaturization of high-frequency ultrasound and advances in artificial intelligence, learning and using handheld ultrasound imaging is now fast, affordable, and easy. Join the renowned Dr. Verner and sonographer Shelley Guenther to see live scanning in action and to learn how to bring wireless ultrasound to your medical aesthetic practice.
